Information, Letters, and Pictures of Jacob while on his mission to Des Moines, Iowa

This week was a sort one. We had a lot of meetings and a lot of little things that kept us from doing our regular missionary work. This upcoming week should be better though. We had a few people who came to church for the first time and I am excited about their progress. The missionaries that where here before me where hard workers and so it has made my job a lot easier. We are continuing to work hard and we spend a lot of our time trying to find new people. The branch is growing though. The members here are sweet and I am excited that I have this chance to work with them. Because of all the meetings I don’t think that I really have that much to talk about. I did get the chance to spend some time in Oskaloosa Iowa. That is a bigger town about a little over an hour from where I am at. I was with one of my zone leaders and we were able to teach some really sweet lessons. I am learning to enjoy this little town. I have been in much smaller towns before and I am excited that I have this chance. When we get complacent the lord stretches us. He will bend and try us and if we endure it well he will help us be better. I love you all. Thank you for all of your faith and your prayers.
